Pratesi purses & Hand Bags
In 1948, post WWII, designer Egidio Pratesi began styling costumes for cinema and movies. After his work in the film and theater industry came to an end, Pratesi found that he missed designing fashion, so he became an artisan; manufacturing small leather goods, handbags, briefcases and travel bags.
Today 50 years have passed, and the Pratesi Company has been passed down from father to son for three generations, but the original Pratesi dedication to quality, durability and fine Italian leather still remains today in each handbag, briefcase, travel bag, tie case and wallet that bears the Pratesi name brand.
